Who We Are
The Mission of Episcopal Charities is to coordinate, administer and expand the philanthropic and charitable arm of The Episcopal Diocese of Southeast Florida, by providing a wide range of activities that promote and support parish-based or parish-sponsored outreach ministries. Grant making, educational resource development, and a variety of other services are offered to local congregations who seek to support the needs of their local communities in Southeast Florida.
What We Do
Outreach Ministries Funding
Since its inception, Episcopal Charities has funded over $1.2 million dollars in outreach grants specifically targeted to ministries being sponsored by local parishes. Eligibility to receive these funds is based upon the congregation’s commitment to provide resources in the area of healthcare, feeding, clothing or shelter of the youth and elderly populations of their local communities. 
Educational & Development Resource
Episcopal Charities provides counseling and a resource for congregations that are seeking ways to better serve the needs of their communities.

Planned Giving Programs
Many congregations have taken advantage of the planned giving and estate planning programs being offered by Episcopal Charities. Will clinic presentations, estate planning programs, endowment fund structuring workshops, and the implementation of Heritage Society Chapters. More and more Episcopalians are including their parish in their estate planning considerations and churches are beginning to understand the importance of sponsoring these types of planned giving ministries and programs.
Fund Development
Episcopal Charities is becoming a faith-based Donor Advised Fund. Many donors realize the importance of providing for restricted or designated funding for ministries and programs throughout Southeast Florida. Episcopal Charities is organizationally and fiscally positioned to receive and manage these types of gifts.
