Donna joined Episcopal Charities of Southeast Florida in May 2009. She previously served as Associate Director of Episcopal Charities of New York, where she oversaw the grants administration process and developed a program sustainability series to assist congregational outreach services in the Diocese, as well as a new multi-year, collaborative funding model for diocesan outreach. As an Episcopal priest she has served parishes in New York and Pennsylvania, with a focus on the operational and funding components of creating, implementing and growing human services outreach, including a life skills programs for women living in poverty, an arts program for homeless and street youth in downtown Manhattan, and a long-term weekly dinner for people with HIV/AIDS. Prior to her ordination Donna practiced law in New York where she served poverty communities as a legal services attorney.

  Bonnie B. Weaver

As the first Grant Director of Florida for the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Bonnie helped shape and focus much of the work in the arts, education, community development and the environment in the community in the early 1990's. She has served as board member and co-chair of The Episcopal Foundation of Southeast Florida, now Episcopal Charities of Southeast Florida. Today, she is delighted to be able to continue her grant work with Episcopal Charities where for the past two years she has served as Program, Grants and Resource Director, and is dedicated to its focus on the needy and disenfranchised in Southeast Florida.

 

Bonnie has also spent many years working a paid and volunteer employee of the Episcopal Church. At the diocesan level, she has served as Deputy for the Diocese of Southeast Florida to the 2009 General Convention and as a member of the Diocesan Standing Committee and Executive Board. She has also served her congregation, Holy Trinity Church, West Palm Beach in a variety of leadership positions, including senior and junior warden on several occasions. Bonnie was the first volunteer and then paid Lay Ministry Coordinator at Holy Trinity and now participates in the church's Newcomer/New Member Ministry as its co-chair.

  The Rev. Carol Carson-Hull

Carol is an Ordained Deacon in the Episcopal Church and is currently assigned to Grace Episcopal Church in West Palm Beach. For the past five years Carol was the teacher of Pastoral Care, Spiritual Journey and Spiritual gift courses at the Diocesan School for Christian Studies. Prior to moving to Florida in 1993 Carol was an Administrator for the State of Montana. Carol brings with her excellent administrative skills, Microsoft Office and Access skills, as well as superlative written and communication skills. Carol is the consummate worker — she simply gets things done beyond the expectation of those who depend upon her contribution.

Oldest of family of ten children, Carol was/is the surrogate mother for seven brothers and two sisters. She was born on the upper peninsula of Michigan; the family migrated toward the west and settled in Nebraska, Colorado and eventually Montana. Carol is a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

Carol's multiple talents include honed administrative and leadership skills, she is a deft quilter and worker with fabrics, she creates her own jewelry, she is a talented cook, but perhaps most of all Carol's compassionate and comforting Pastoral Care are her greatest asset and most to those who know her, her greatest resource.

  Carol Bruno

With many years of marketing and communications experience in healthcare, education and social service agencies in South Florida, Carol also has had major fundraising roles in secondary and college educational settings, many of which were affiliated with the Episcopal church. She is experienced with grant-seeking, securing individual and foundation gifts of annual support, and planned giving opportunities, which can both provide a legacy for the donor and serve the long-term goals of the organization. Carol graduated from the University of Michigan and is pursuing a master's degree in Philanthropy and Development from St. Mary's University in Minnesota. She is has gained certification (CFRE) from the American Association of Fundraising Professionals, and is committed to matching the philanthropic priorities of generous people with the compelling needs of others.
