Matthew 25 Committee
Funding for human needs outreach ministries in the Diocese comes from two sources: the Diocesan Human Needs Fund and Episcopal Charities' Smith Fund. Representatives of both funds make up the Matthew 25 Committee, which is charged with recommending grant distributions to the various congregational outreach programs. Diocesan Human Needs Fund committee members are either appointed by each Dean or elected at Convocation. Smith Fund committee members come from the organization's appointed Grants Committee.
